Objects that seem useless, what do they become when they serve no purpose? As forms deprives of their intended utility, they become objects or a vessel in a theatrical sense, where they can represent compositional narratives. I have used objects such as cardboard rolls from toilet papers, egg holders, broken cups, or remainders of architectural models such as trees. They have been arranged rhythmically in different compositions to create work of arts, becoming part of the supposed sublime and beauty of artistic works. In “home-made sceneries”, I have reflected on landscape traditions, using disposed objects to make artificial sceneries, emphasising how this abundance of objects and remainders have become part of our existence and our landscape, becoming part of nature (or replacing nature).
